About
My research interests cover both fundamental and applied fluid mechanics, with the commonality of vortex dynamics and vortex methods. These areas include problems such as prototypical vortical flows but also real-life problems like flows past wind turbines or aircraft wakes.
I am also very much interested in more multi-disciplinary areas such as flow control and in particular bio-inspired devices or algorithms for flow control, fluid-structure interaction problems and multi-physics simulations.
Finally I will mention our efforts in the development of efficient Lagrangian-Eulerian numerical methods and their implementation in a high-performance computing setting.
